When I first started making this work, I wanted to use stop-motion animation to express my anxiety during that time. Every night when I lay in bed, all kinds of anxious thoughts would swim out of my mind like the fish, circling around the room, and I was suffocated. But the next morning, I still had to return to my normal social life as if nothing had happened. The puppet in this work is used to express myself and individuals who are disciplined by society.

Video

This is a collaborative work, the theme is based on the rules of the game exquisite Corpse. Each person will take the last frame of the video taken by the previous person as a clue and shoot a video, and leave a new clue for the next person in the last frame of your own video. During the video shooting, the team members cannot know what others are filming.

The clue I got was a lemon. I still continued to use the theme of puppets, and put the fingers of the person being filmed in strings. Whether she was cutting the lemon or putting the lemon into her mouth, her hands were interfered or resisted by the string. In the subsequent shots, her eyes, ears and mouth were hooked by the string, and her expression could not be completely controlled by herself.
